So here I was today, trying to get a fitness marketing plan of attack going for another one of my businesses.

What did I do?

System 5 Product ImageI pulled out System 5 and went to Step 3: POSITION, section 3-4 which is all about marketing…

As I was reading through my own book, I kept nodding my head and saying to myself: “yep, mmhhmm, that’s another good one that I forgot to add to my list…”

I was shocked…I mean here I am, someone who is successful at marketing and positioning and taking my businesses to the next level, especially when it came to personal training and charging super high rates, but I’m consulting my own damn book for advice on how to do it?!

LOL…

I had to stop and laugh at that one…

But it brought up a good point that I wanted to share with you:

950 times is all it took to pass her driving test!

I wanted to share an incredible story with you about perseverance and never giving up as you look at your fitness business and mindset.

I was reading some online news stories today, and came across one that just blew me away and reminded me that just because I try something a few times and don’t get the instant gratification and results that I want, to never let anything stand in my way.

The story was about a lady in South Korea that took her written driving test 950 times before she finally passed!

Using Proper Fitness Marketing to Fill Your Power Niche

Maximizing your personal training marketing power niche and ratcheting your income to a much higher level as a personal trainer is all about getting clients to pay top-dollar for your services by finding a need and filling it.

Now I’m not just talking about any need mind you – but a specific need – one that no one else is filling.

As I’ve talked about frequently, the key to being able to charge much higher rates – justifiably so for those that are worried about raising your rates without giving your clients something special in return – is to not expand your focus, but rather narrow it further than you ever have done before.

In other words, you need to focus your personal training marketing on meeting that one special need that clients are looking for – the ones you most want to train and work with – and once you do that, you’ll quickly see how potential clients will gladly pay you top-dollar for your training.

So how does this relate to you and your power niche? Simple.

The group of clients who will pay a premium to have their specific needs met is your personal training marketing niche.

On top of that, odds are it’s also your favorite type of client to train and one with which you relate to the best and have the most experience helping.

This creates a win-win scenario whereby the client is ecstatic that they found you, and you in turn are training exactly the type of client you most identify with and are most passionate about training.
