My Name is Chris Fernandez, and here’s my story…

Humble but not desperate beginnings.

No, I wasn’t washed up on a deserted island somewhere or living out of my mom’s cousin’s uncle’s basement like some other “about me” pages you may have read, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a frustrating story to tell.

In fact, I want to argue that living in mediocrity is the worst possible situation because it breeds contentment, laziness and a lack of motivation to do what you should be doing and only delays your life’s pursuits.

Long Story Long…

So, let’s start at the top.

I decided to become a personal trainer because working out and pushing my body to the absolute extremes of its capabilities are a passion that burns within me to this day as strongly as it did when I turned 14.

I’ll never forget the very first “workout” book that I ever read.

It was Nolan Ryan’s Pitcher’s Bible, written by the great Hall of Fame Major League pitcher himself.

At the time I wanted nothing more than to be a starting pitcher for my high school baseball team, and I remember clearly opening the book and seeing the workout routines designed by Nolan, who at the time, was notorious for his intense workouts that kept him at the top of his game.

From Ryan’s book to the requisite Muscle and Fitness, Flex magazines and countless other sources of information over the years, I was well on my way to fueling a burning hunger for tons of knowledge on working out, that I never knew existed.

Anyway, ever since that day, working out has been a passion that will never die, and has only grown stronger over the years.

To me, it’s more painful to miss a workout or eat something bad, than it ever is to go through the actual physical pain during a workout or skip the donut rack.

Accepting Life as a Mediocre Trainer

So as you have probably guessed, I decided to become a personal trainer after going to college for 4 years and getting a degree in …Meteorology… don’t ask.

Here I am, a fresh faced kid training anyone and everyone thinking that I knew it all, and was ready to make a real career for myself.

That’s when the mediocrity kicked in.

You know, getting paid $10, $20 $30 per hour to stand around all day training people…

I made enough money to scrape by, but never a dime more.

I had a J-O-B: otherwise known as Just Over Broke.

Work 30 Years… and Then Relax!

There were various boom and bust times in my life, and along the way I always had an entrepreneurial spirit whereby I had side businesses (never successful in a traditional sense), in addition to personal training.

This is where I want to argue that not being thrown out on the street, or living out of my parent’s garage actually did me more harm than good.

You see, had I gone through a more difficult time, had I been forced out of my home, or had some other misfortune befall me, I would have had to wake up much quicker than I did…

Instead of spending almost an entire decade repeating the same mistakes and never amounting to much financially, I would have been served my “change or else” papers…

But, that’s not what happened.

Things did finally start to change about 5 years ago, when I started looking at my life and wondered why the hell I always worked so much, made so little, and never had anything to show for it.

Why couldn’t I travel when I wanted to?

Why couldn’t I eat at an expensive restaurant instead of “treating” myself to Outback Steakhouse? (Not that there’s anything wrong with that of course!)

Why couldn’t I just take a day off instead of training clients all day?

Why couldn’t I help my parents out financially and give them a better life in return for all they had given me?

Why couldn’t I be financially free so that I could spend time with those that I loved and pursue my true passions, that didn’t involve the gym, and work on things I chose to, rather than had to?

Something Happened On The Way to Retirement

These feelings started as just a small voice inside my head asking innocent questions…

They quickly grew into anger, frustration, and helplessness.

That’s when things finally changed for me.

I reached a point in my life, where I was so sick and tired of being helpless, being broke, and always feeling like I could be doing so much more with my life, that I decided that I would do whatever it took to change it…anything.

I started becoming fascinated by successful people, especially those in business.

I started reading financial books, self help books and attending seminars.

I started to LEARN what the hell was wrong with me and why I had never managed to become financially free…

The reason was actually pretty simple, and very humbling:

Me.

So from that moment on, I decided to do whatever it took to change my circumstances.

Which Brings Us To Now

So here I am, with all my life lessons, knowledge and experience, and the financial freedom that I’ve always craved.

That is the reason why I created this website and wrote my FREE e-book on fitness marketing.

It is why in the coming months, I’ll be sharing with you everything that I know, everything that has taken me years to learn, and giving it all to you so that you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did and take the long road to become free.

As a personal trainer, I can relate exactly to what you are going through, and thus, want to ease your burden, and teach you everything that I know, so that you don’t have to learn the hard way.

I know there’s a better way for you, and have taught, mentored and helped many personal trainers and entrepreneurs just like you, turn their lives around, become financially free, and finally take control of their destiny.

There’s a Catch…

Saying all of this you must understand one thing: Most will never succeed.

It won’t matter at all what I teach you, what lessons I impart on you, or what tips, tactics and secrets that I pass along.

The real truth is that this website and my FREE e-book are reserved for the top 10% of personal trainers out there that have had it, and are sick and tired of not being in control of their financial destiny.

Most of you will be satisfied and “happy” with your mediocre lifestyle, and I can personally attest that the “happy” or “satisfied” feeling you have are keeping you from living the life of your dreams, helping those around you, and becoming the person you were always meant to be.

Our time here on Earth is very limited.

I don’t want you to spend one more second of it living on the edge and ignoring your true self.

That’s why I created this website, and that’s MY passion:

To mentor and help personal trainers of any specialty, background or experience level, learn how to market and position yourself to make 6 and 7-figure income modeling what works and not waste your time with what doesn’t.

Don’t spend another second toiling away not knowing what to do, how to do it, or wondering how the heck some personal trainers make a lot of money while others struggle.

Instead, take control of your financial destiny, reclaim your time and life, and cut out the long learning curve by following in my footsteps. Let me take you to where you want to be quicker and easier than you ever thought possible.

I look forward to taking that journey with you, getting to know you along the way, and helping you turn your passion for personal training into a very lucrative career so that you can finally become financially free.

Wishing you all the best in making it happen,

Chris Fernandez
